JOINING A LEAGUE
CONDITIONS
We don't believe in storing your personal data. It's why we don't even ask you to sign up as a member on our site. We only require information that allows us to sign you up to the league of your choice, and take payment through our invoicing process. Below details the simple process of how you'd enter one of our leagues.
Step One: Fill in the Form
This is your first step towards joining a league. Simply choose the league you’d like to join and specify your “alias” (when we publish the teams on our website, your alias is what we will display, as opposed to your actual name). If you prefer for your name to be displayed in the team roster, please put your name as the alias. If you are joining with a friend, provide their information too. After you are done, hit the “Submit” button and wait for us to get back to you!
We have a zero-tolerance policy on rude, vulgar or offensive alias names. We encourage funny names or nicknames, but please keep them polite!
We only ask for your name and email address for invoice purposes. We ask for your telephone number so that once we place you in a team, we can privately share your number with your teammates once your team is formed. This allows your team to be able to communicate with each other and plan ahead for your fixtures. We will never display your personal details publicly on our site.
If you opt in to become a team captain and are selected, you are requested to create a communication channel with your teammates (WhatsApp, Email etc.), as well as ensure that you have enough players for match day.
Step Two: Invoice Generation
Upon receiving your request to join a league, you will receive an email (usually within 24 hours) with an invoice and a payment link, generated securely through our payment processor. Please keep an eye on your spam/junk inbox in case the email shows up there.
Step Three: Invoice Payment
Once you receive the invoice, please make the payment as soon as possible. Until the payment has been made, your place will not be secured. If you are joining with a friend and have selected the option for your friend to receive an invoice for their own position, we will only place you both in a team once both payments have been received.
Final Step: Team Assignment
We will take responsibility of assigning you to a team. Once a team has been allocated, you should also receive an email. The team roster will also update to reflect your alias. It is totally up to you to share your real names – after all, Heracles Arena is all about making new friends!
